STAIND’s Aaron Lewis reportedly passed a kidney stone yesterday (Tuesday, January 18) just days after having his appendix removed.

Aaron shared the unfortunate news (if you’ve ever had a kidney stone, you know what we mean by “unfortunate”) of his kidney stone in an Instagram post, writing: “Laying here recovering from having my appendix out. On top of that, I’ve had a kidney stone SLOWLY snaking it’s way through me for the last 4 days. After intense like-I’ve-never-experienced-pain, I successfully passed this kidney stone today.”

The STAIND frontman was supposed to play shows in in Davenport, Iowa last Friday (January 14), Inman, Kansas on Saturday (January 15) and in Springfield, Missouri on Sunday (January 16) but had to cancel so that he could recover from an appendectomy.

Yes. This is considered news.

Lewis’s new solo album, “Frayed At Both Ends”, is set to arrive on January 28.
