The latest SLIPKNOT album, “The End, So Far”, is second only to GHOST’s “Impera”
According to Billboard, SLIPKNOT‘s “The End, So Far” made it’s debut at No. 2 the Billboard 200 chart with 59,000 equivalent album units earned.
The final tally is made up of 50,500 actual album sales, 8,000 streaming equivalent albums (or about 11 million streams), and 500 track equivalent albums.
To break it down, each equivalent album unit is equal to “one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.”
SLIPKNOT‘s final outing with Roadrunner Records came in second to GHOST‘s latest offering “Impera“, which hit No. 2 the week of its release with 70,000 equivalent album units earned.
“The End, So Far” is now SLIPKNOT‘s sixth top 10-charting album on the Billboard 200.
