Sharon Osbourne has confirmed that her husband Ozzy Osbourne will be a headlining act for the 2023 edition of the Power Trip festival

Sharon’s announcement comes after growing speculation that Ozzy Osbourne, along with GUNS N’ ROSES, AC/DC, METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN and TOOL, would headline the massive three-day event. This year’s Powertrip festival is said to be taking place Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8 at the Empire Polo Club In Indio, California.

This announcement comes after Ozzy Osbourne had been forced to cancel his previously announced tour due to ongoing health concerns and im-mobility issues. However, the 74-year-old singer did say he would return if his condition improved.

During yesterday’s (March 29) appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on TalkTV, Sharon said about Ozzy’s health: “He’s good. He’s doing so much better. I think I told you about it the other night, but now it’s been announced; we can talk about it. He’s doing a show October 6th in America. It’s at the Coachella site. It’s gonna be a great show: GUNS N’ ROSES, METALLICA, AC/DC, Ozzy…”

After host Piers Morgan commented that “the rocker is still rocking,” Sharon replied: “He never stopped. He’s back.”

Hits Daily Double reports that GUNS N’ ROSES and IRON MAIDEN will perform on the Friday, AC/DC and OZZY OSBOURNE will play on Saturday and METALLICA and TOOL will take the stage on Sunday.

The speculation initially arose after AC/DC, METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN, OZZY OSBOURNE and TOOL all shared a teaser video for Power Trip to their social media accounts.

The full festival lineup and further details are expected to be officially revealed today (Thursday, March 30).

Passes for this year’s Power Trip will go on sale next week.
