NBC Los Angeles has reported that one person has been killed and four others injured in a shooting late Saturday night (April 23) during a death metal concert at a bar in San Bernardino, California
The incident happened outside of the Marquis Lounge at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday during a concert for L.A. death metal band CRAWLING THROUGH TARTARUS. The band’s lead vocalist Matt Holzboog was reportedly “hit by two rounds”, yet survived after being rushed to hospital.
Unfortunately, 32-year-old attendee James Vincent Dickson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities report that the four remaining victims were in stable condition on Monday.
The investigation into the shooting remains under investigation with no suspect or motive information available at this time.
