Of course, there are a boat load of METALLICA covers on the way with the upcoming release of the 30th anniversary edition of their phenomenally-successful self-titled fifth album (or “Black” album), which features a massive collection of covers from the record called ‘The Metallica Blacklist’. The 53-artist tribute album, which is set for release on METALLICA’s own Blackened Recordings label on September 10, features artists such as GHOST, COREY TAYLOR, ST. VINCENT and more.
METALLICA will also release an expansive new version of the “Black” album on the same day, complete with unheard demo cuts, live tracks and alternate mixes.
