METALLICA will commence their “72 Seasons” world tour concerts on April 27 and 29 at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands along with ARCHITECTS and MAMMOTH WVH for the first concert and ICE NINE KILLS and NIGHTWISH singer Floor Jansen for the second

METALLICA posted an announcement, saying: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Five Finger Death Punch cannot join us Saturday in Amsterdam… stepping in for them will be Floor Jansen from Nightwish performing a solo set in support of her album, Paragon. Thanks for joining us, Floor – can’t wait to see your set!”

It appears that DEATH PUNCH will only be missing the April show and are scheduled to join the tour in MAy, as singer Ivan Moody recovers from hernia surgery.

Earlier today (Monday, April 24), DEATH PUNCH released the following statement via their social media: “As many of you know, [DEATH PUNCH singer] Ivan [Moody] recently had surgery to correct an acute hernia injury. The recovery proved more challenging than initially thought and on the advice of his doctors, Ivan and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will not be able to perform the show in Amsterdam with METALLICA. 5FDP will perform ALL subsequent scheduled dates. See you in Paris [on May 17]!”
