The sludge and stoner rock/metal festival known as “Desertfest” will return to the U.S. next year with BARONESS, HIGH ON FIRE and MONSTER MAGNET set to headline the multi day event in New York City in May.
The festival will be held at the Knockdown Center from May 13 through May 15, with a pre-fest show taking place on May 12 at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, featuring THE ATOMIC BITCHWAX, PLANET OF ZEUS, FATSO JETSON and DRUID.
Throughout the festival, fans will take in the sludgy sounds of RED FANG, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, TORCHE, ORANGE GOBLIN, GREEN LUNG and many more over “Desertfest’s” three smoke filled days.
Three and four-day passes are both available for purchase now at the Desertfest New York website. Individual day tickets will be available in December with the daily lineups also being revealed at that time.
