LAMB OF GOD guitarist Willie Adler has released a statement as to why he will be vacant from the band’s upcoming international tour dates.
Juts like this past January, VIO-LENCE/ex-MACHINE HEAD guitarist Phil Demmel has been recruited to cover for him as LAMB OF GOD perform a run of European dates.
Earlier this year, VIO-LENCE frontman Sean Killian revealed that Demmel was recruited as a result of Adler being reluctant to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, which is a requirement for international touring.
In a new statement issued by LAMB OF GOD, Willie commented on his absence from this month’s touring, saying: “Hey everyone. I’m thrilled with the love we’ve been seeing for the two new Lamb songs we’ve dropped so far. I can’t wait for everyone to hear the entire ‘Omens‘ album. We’re all super proud of it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make the trip to Europe for the upcoming shows this month, I’ve got some things that I need to be home for and I appreciate the band supporting my decision.
I will 100% be back on stage for the Omens tour in September & October. See y’all there!
–Willie“
LAMB OF GOD will drop their new studio album “Omens” on October 7th.
