Former DANZIG bassist and member of New York punk act D GENERATION Howie Pyro (real name Howard Kusten) has died.
The musician passed away yesterday (May 4) at the age of 61.
A representative for the former DANZIG bassist reported that he died from complications related to COVID-19 coupled with liver disease.
Howie Pyro has quite the impressive resume, having worked with such artists as RANCID, Debbie Harry and even Joey Ramone.
Pyro played with DANZIG from 2000 until 2003 and is featured as bassist on the band’s 2002 album “I Luciferi”.
