Former CRADLE OF FILTH guitarist Stuart Anstis has passed away at the age of 48
Anstis played guitar with CRADLE OF FILTH from 1995 to 1999, performing on both the “Dusk And Her Embrace” and “Cruelty And The Beast” albums. Stuart also appeared on CRADLE OF FILTH‘s “V Empire or Dark Faerytales In Phallustein” EP.
In October of 1999, Anstis had parted ways with CRADLE OF FILTH after reportedly being dismissed from his guitar player duties.
There is currently no further information available at this time.
The initial report of Stuart’s death was revealed by former CRADLE OF FILTH guitarist Richard Shaw via his official Instagram. “Rest in peace, Stuart,” said Shaw in a recent posting, depicting a picture of the late guitarist. “It was an honour performing your music. Thoughts are with his friends and family at this difficult time.”
