FOO FIGHTERS took the stage for their first official concert with new drummer Josh Freese Wednesday night (May 24) at the Bank Of New Hampshire Pavilion At Meadowbrook in Gilford, New Hampshire

The Dave Grohl fronted group kicked off the concert with “Rescued”, the lead off single from FOO FIGHTERSupcoming album“But Here We Are”, as well as the new tracks “Under You”“Nothing At All” and the upcoming LP’s title track.

The evening also included the first performance of the song “Cold Day In The Sun” in five years, and an appearance by Grohl‘s daughter Violet for “Shame Shame”.

FOO FIGHTERS are set to take the stage again this Friday (May 26) at the Boston Calling festival which is happening at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Boston, Massachusetts. The group are also set to hit a few other festival, including Bonnaroo in June, Festival D’Ete De Quebec in July, Outside Lands in August, the Ohana, also in August, and Chicago’s Riot Fest in September.

Josh Freese is known for sitting behind the kit with such bands as GUNS N’ ROSESA PERFECT CIRCLEPUDDLE OF MUDDNINE INCH NAILSWEEZERPARAMORETHE REPLACEMENTSSting and THE VANDALS, among others.

FOO FIGHTERS‘ 11th album, “But Here We Are”, arrives on June 2 on Roswell/RCA.
