FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE singer and rhythm guitarist Francesco Paoli has been admitted to hospital due to injuries sustained as the result of a rock climbing accident.
Paoli, who is an experienced climber, was seriously injured this past weekend while he was scaling rock in his native home of Italy.
FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE released the following statement today via their social media.
“Last Saturday, August 21st, our singer Francesco Paoli suffered severe injuries while rock climbing the Gran Sasso mountains in Abruzzo, Italy,” the band revealed. “Despite suffering several fractures, Francesco is currently stable at a local hospital while receiving treatment for his injuries.”
The band added, “In light of this, Fleshgod Apocalypse is forced to cancel their Cremona, Italy show at ‘Road to Luppolo’ scheduled this Sunday the 29th. More details will be shared as soon as we have more info available.”
