FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY Get Brutal: New Deathcore Album on the Horizon

New Jersey’s in-your-face deathcore outfit, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY (FFAA), just dropped a brutal truth bomb on social media: they’re already working on album number seven! This news comes as a welcome surprise to fans eagerly awaiting the follow-up to their 2022 release, “Oh What The Future Holds.”

But hold on a minute, how is this humanly possible? Enter the band’s resident guitar genius, Will Putney. Not only does Putney unleash sonic fury with his riffs in FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, but he’s also a GRAMMY-award winning producer and mixing engineer with a stacked resume. Add to that his active role in the bands BETTER LOVERS and END, and you’ve got one seriously busy dude.

So how does he manage to juggle it all? Well, the answer is simple: pure, unadulterated passion. FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY isn’t just a band, it’s a creative outlet, a musical maelstrom that demands to be unleashed. Putney‘s dedication to the craft, both on stage and behind the scenes, is legendary.

While details about the new album are still under wraps (it is very early days after all!), this announcement is enough to get any deathcore devotee’s heart pounding. Will they explore even darker sonic territory? Will they unleash a barrage of pulverizing breakdowns that redefine brutality? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: FFAA isn’t known for holding back.

With Putney‘s undeniable talent at the helm, both in the studio and on the strings, album number seven promises to be a monstrous masterpiece of aggression. Stay tuned, because FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY is about to deliver a sonic earthquake that will leave you breathless and begging for more. In the meantime, crank up “Oh What The Future Holds” to get your fix of their signature blend of technical prowess and primal fury.

Speaking of which, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY are also set to his the road along with SYLOSIS for a European/U.K. run later this year.

The run of dates is also set to feature DARKEST HOUR and HERIOT and runs through this November and December.

Sylosis is back on the road again! says SYLOSIS. “We can’t wait to be touring the UK and Europe with Fit For An Autopsy, Darkest Hour and Heriot. It’s an amazing feeling to have Sylosis consistently touring after such a long break and we’re trying to get to as many cities as possible to make up for lost time! See you there!”

FFAA is always excited to get over to Europe to play shows!” exclaim FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY. “The European metal community has always been amazing to us. This tour is stacked with great bands that just happen to be people we consider friends. It’s one of those tours that you know will be a good time before it even starts!”

“We’re so pleased to be heading out with our friends in Fit For An Autopsy, Sylosis and Darkest Hour this winter!” say HERIOT. “This will be our biggest UK/ EU tour to date and we can’t wait to venture into new cities we haven’t played before!”

“We are so absolutely excited to announce that we will return to the EU and UK this year with new music and old friends!” adds DARKEST HOUR’s Mike Schleibaum. “All in the spirit of celebrating the release of our new album, “Perpetual | Terminal“.

“This tour covers a lot of ground and we are honoured to team up with good friends Fit For An Autopsy and incredible bands Sylosis and Heriot. Joining forces with them allows us to bring our special style of melodic death metal to some places that we haven’t played in over a decade. Looking forward to closing out 2024 on this tour, if you live near or in any of these cities do not miss this massive metal party!”

FFAA blends brutal death metal elements with groove-infused breakdowns and atmospheric soundscapes. Their debut album, “The Process of Human Extermination” (2011), set the stage for their signature, brutal style.

Known for their intense live performances and socially conscious lyrics, FFAA has released a string of critically acclaimed albums, including “Hellbound” (2013) and “The Sea of Tragic Beasts” (2020). They’re a band not to be missed for fans of extreme, heavy music that pushes boundaries.
