Drummer Tom Hunting rejoined his EXODUS bandmates on stage Thursday night (October 7) at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California.
Hunting’s appearance marked the first time the drummer played live with the group since undergoing a successful total gastrectomy in July in his battle with squamous cell carcinoma of the stomach. You can check out fan-filmed video footage below.
EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt wrote on his Instagram: “@aftershockfestival was EPIC!! The return of my man Tom Hunting, who just destroyed his drums!”
EXODUS will release their new album, “Persona Non Grata”, on November 19 via Nuclear Blast Records.
