DREAM THEATER are now streaming their 1997 studio album “Falling Into Infinity” complete with outtakes and demos under the ‘Lost Not Forgotten‘ archives.

Initially, DREAM THEATER wrote a double album’s worth of material for the effort, however budget constraints the record would be released as a single disc. This meant dropping such songs as “Raise the Knife,” “Where are You Now,” “Cover My Eyes,” “Speak to Me,” “The Way It Used to Be,” and “Metropolis Pt. 2” which later became the band’s 1999 classic Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory.

You can now check out the full album, plus all the extras under the “Lost Not Forgotten Archives – Falling Into Infinity Demos: 1996-1997” below.

DREAM THEATER won their first-ever Grammy award for the “Best Metal Performance” category in the pre-telecast ceremony at the 64th annual Grammy Awards, which was held on April 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The band were nominated for the track “The Alien“, off their 2021 album “A View From The Top Of The World“.
