VAN HALEN vocalist David Lee Roth has shared a new solo version of the band’s classic “Everybody Wants Some!!”. You can check it out below
The new version follows the previously released reworkings of the classic VAN HALEN tracks “You Really Got Me“, “Dance The Night Away“, “Panama” and “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love“, all of which were recorded on May 3, 2022 during a session at Henson Recording Studio in Hollywood, California.
The personnel joining Roth in the studio for those sessions was Al Estrada on guitar, Ryan Wheeler on bass and Francis Valentino on drums. The music and vocals were tracked live with “no samples” and without pitch-correction.
Five months ago, Dave shared a previously unheard solo recording from 2007, called “Nothing Could Have Stopped Us Back Then Anyway“, in which the singer looked back on his days in VAN HALEN. That particular track was recorded in 2007 with guitarist John 5 and drummer Gregg Bissonette for an album that was never released.
In July, Roth also released a new solo song called “Pointing At The Moon“. The acoustic track was accompanied by a new abstract painting created by Dave.
