According to frontman Corey Taylor, we can probably expect to hear some new SLIPKNOT music “within the next month.”
Corey relayed the news during SLIPKNOT‘s “Knotfest Roadshow” stop at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Illinois, over the weekend (June 5).

“I’m gonna start some shit by telling you that probably within the next month, you will probably hear some new fuckin’ Slipknot shit,” Taylor said before breaking into a performance of the band’s latest single “The Chapeltown Rag“.
Corey continued, “However, in the interim — I mean, since we’re fuckin’ family here, right? We’re fuckin’ family here in Moline, Illinois. Well, since we’re family, we thought we would give you just a piece. Would you like a fuckin’ piece? Is that what you want, you crazy fuckers?!”
Corey has been dropping numerous hints on the possibility of the new SLIPKNOT album dropping sooner than later at a number of dates on their current run of shows for the “Slipknot Roadshow” tour. So with that being said by the man himself, we can expect some new savagery from SLIPKNOT in the mere days ahead.
