TRIVIUM and IBARAKI frontman Matt Heafy has released his cover of Tom Cochrane‘s 1991 hit single “Life Is A Highway“
Tom Cochrane‘s original version was certified gold in the United States after it’s initial release, however the 2005 cover done by RASCAL FLATS went on to achieve 6x multi-platinum status.
This was in part due to it’s inclusion in the Pixar animated film ‘Cars‘.
Heafy says he decided to cover the song for his son Akira.
