BLACK LABEL SOCIETY are currently in the studio working on a new album

BLS Toronto Chapter has shared a new photo of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY mainman Zakk Wylde in the studio working on the band’s twelfth studio album.

The forthcoming studio LP will be the follow-up to the band’s latest record “Doom Crew Inc.”, which arrived in November of 2021 via MNRK Heavy (formerly eOne Music).

On “Doom Crew Inc.”Zakk split guitar duties with shredder Dario Lorina and was backed by longtime bassist John “J.D.” DeServio and drummer Jeff Fabb.

Doom Crew Inc.” was made available digitally on CD and vinyl plus a deluxe edition that includes vinyl, CD longbox, cassette and more. The 12-track album is both a tribute to the band’s “first to bleed, last to leave” road crew and a salute to the legion whose support, stretching back to 1998, rivals that of the KISS Army.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, the heavy metal juggernaut, has carved its name in the annals of rock history with blistering guitar solos, bone-crushing riffs, and a distinctive sound that has captivated audiences worldwide. Formed by iconic guitarist Zakk Wylde, the band’s journey has been marked by member changes and a prolific discography that has solidified their status as a force to be reckoned with.

The band came into being in 1998, when Zakk Wylde, renowned for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, decided to embark on his own musical endeavor. Gathering a formidable lineup consisting of drummer Phil Ondich, bassist John “J.D.” DeServio, and guitarist Nick Catanese, the band released their debut album, “Sonic Brew” in 1999. The album showcased their unique blend of heavy metal, Southern rock, and blues influences, earning critical acclaim and setting the stage for their subsequent journey.

The band underwent several lineup changes over the years, with Wylde remaining the sole consistent member. Despite the changes, the band’s signature sound remained intact, rooted in Wylde’s commanding guitar skills and distinctive vocal style. The albums that followed, such as “Stronger Than Death” (2000), “1919 Eternal” (2002), and “The Blessed Hellride” (2003), propelled BLACK LABEL SOCIETY to new heights of success. Each album saw the band’s sound evolving, experimenting with different elements while maintaining their heavy metal core.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY‘s discography is a testament to their creative prowess and relentless work ethic. From the critically acclaimed “Mafia” (2005) to the powerful “Shot to Hell” (2006) and the thunderous “Order of the Black” (2010), the band consistently delivered high-octane metal anthems that resonated with fans worldwide. Their electrifying live performances and unwavering dedication further cemented their status as a formidable presence in the metal scene.

In more recent years, the band continued to dominate the metal world with albums like “Catacombs of the Black Vatican” (2014) and “Grimmest Hits” (2018), displaying their unyielding passion and commitment to their craft.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY‘s history is a testament to the power of unadulterated heavy metal, with Zakk Wylde at the helm as a driving force. Through member changes and a vast discography, the band has remained a relentless sonic force, delivering uncompromising music that resonates with fans of heavy metal across the globe. As they continue to unleash their thunderous power, the group solidifies their place among the elite acts in the genre, leaving an indelible mark on the history of rock and roll.
