ALTER BRIDGE guitarist Mark Tremonti says that he and the rest of the band have reconvened to begin recording their seventh studio album.

“I just got off [tour] with [my solo band] TREMONTI about… last week, maybe,” he tells Rock Titan (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). “I hit the ground running. I had half a day off and went into the studio with ALTER BRIDGE. We’re doing pre-production right now. Drum tracking will probably start in about four days. And then I hit the road [again], head to Europe on May 27th through July 3rd. And then we’ll kind of see what happens between the window of that and our ALTER BRIDGE tour that kicks back off in November.”

ALTER BRIDGE released the seven-song EP, “Walk The Sky 2.0”, in November 2020 via Napalm Records which featured live versions of some tracks from “Walk The Sky” like “Wouldn’t You Rather”, “Pay No Mind”, “Native Son”, “Godspeed”, “In The Deep” and “Dying Light”. It also included the new studio track, “Last Rites”.

“Walk The Sky” came out in October 2019 via Napalm Records.
